Instructions
1 In a clean bowl, stir the yeast with the sugar until it liquefies. Then add soft butter, yolks, rum essence and orange essence, milk , and in the end add flour mixed with salt and sifted twice.
2 Knead well by hand about 10 minutes then let the dough rise in a warm place, free from drafts, until it doubles or triples its volume.
3 Then take the dough with the rolling pin and lay it on the well-oiled working board. Spread the sheet 1 cm thick. Cut all the sheet in round slices using dough forms or a glass always dusted with flour. Let the slices to grow 15 minutes on the table.
4 Bake in oil bath. Remove with a knitting needle and put on an absorbent paper towel.
While still warm, powder with caster sugar mixed with vanilla sugar or melted chocolate.
